As a Senior Software Engineer with over 6 years of development experience and a PhD in Population Genetics, I bring a unique perspective to software engineering.
My background combines technical expertise in full-stack development (Vue.js, TypeScript, Nuxt, Node) with scientific rigor from two decades in research and education. I'm the Technical Lead on several projects at Cadre5, building enterprise applications that solve real-world problems.

My core expertise is in the front end, with Vue, TypeScript, and Nuxt. I also have experience with Node and Python (and a some C#/.NET). I have done a few hobby projects in Go and Flutter. I am also using AI tools such as Claude Code to increase the efficiency of my work flow and automate repetitive tasks.
I currently serve as Technical Lead on four enterprise projects at Cadre5, building web applications for government and business clients. I've worked on projects involving real-time data processing, complex business logic, and user-friendly interfaces for technical and non-technical users alike.

My PhD in Botany & Population Genetics, as well as my background in public health and environmental science give me a unique analytical perspective.
